The question posed at the beginning of the week: How did a recent hardship affect your person and your outlook?

YHC felt PAX took this question very deeply all week. The discussion was sincere and thought provoking! At the end, PAX all agreed “Contentment”, the 4th of 5 Leadership virtues was strongly at play. It is critical for us men to be JOYFUL and not seek HAPPINESS. As Flo correctly stated, happiness is a feeling and it comes/goes. Joyfulness is a state of being and can be forged.

I am so honored to and grateful to lead you men and thank you for the opportunity to serve you.

* Due to the 30-minute time limit PAX did not quite finish…YHC shouldn’t have been so soft with the slower stretches.

** Shuffle Lunges – in-place backwards lunge, come up and immediately do an in-place forward lunge, switch legs…this is 1 rep.

*** Kraken Burpee – 2 hand release merkins inside of a normal burpee (release the Kraken…get it?! It’s in the Exicon. I thought the joke listed was funny…)
