The sky was super clear, the air crisp and chilly, however YHC was not about to let any PAX get cold! With a hearty welcome, PAX began the beatdown with vigor!

WARMUP:
Mosey to the top of the pavilion and circled up for
Motivators from 5 down to 1

THE THANG:
Three rounds. Each round had 4 exercises, which were repped out in decreasing amounts: 20, 15, 10, and 5. Following completion, PAX ran a lap around the ballfield perimeter (roughly 1/4 mile), and performed 5 prison burpees. PAX then moved to the next round. While we kept close pace, each round was OYO and we held plank to start the next round together.

– Bobby Hurleys (turns out nobody likes Duke…still)

Moseyed back to the shovel flag for a little bigger emphasis on core this week.

COT:
Discussed accountability. In this “Day & Age” (TM) people are too afraid of hurting someone’s feelings. However, if one truly loves their friend, colleague, spouse, child, etc., it is important to hold them accountable and to let them know when they aren’t doing what they said / holding their end of a bargin / etc. Don’t be afraid of hurthing their feelings. They aren’t a snowflake (despite popular attitudes) and we owe it to them to help them become the best possible person they are able.

Prayers and Thanks to God for holding us accountable, showing unyielding love for us when we do fail on our journey to be more Christ-like. We’ll never get there, but You never stop loving us. Help us to show that same love to people we interact with.
