THE THANG:
Capture the Flag ruck. A base to the west up the ridge and base to the east in the neighborhood next to the park. Two teams set off from the shovel flag with rucks, sandbags, and their flags (gold bricks courtesy of ODD JOB ). A brisk pace, heavy load, and a bit of competition had spirits and heart rates high.

First, a trip to “home” base to drop the flag and crank out 5 ruck merkins. Next, a ruck past the shovel flag to retrieve the brick from the enemy base. Tags were rewarded with 5 ruck merkins. After retrieving the enemy flag, teams high-tailed it back to the flag to secure victory.
