YHC decided to kick off Thanksgiving week with a Drop Trout Special Edition – The Gobbler Challenge. Thanks to Gobbler out of F3 Puget Sound for the beatdown!

Warm-o-Rama:

A short mosey around the park to the b-ball court, then some

  • Sun Gods, x10 IC
  • Arm and leg stretch routine, with some witch’s brew mixed in

The Thang:

5 Rounds. New exercise each round and a 0.25 run after each round.

Exercises:

  1. Hand release merkins
  2. Body weight squats
  3. Bent over rows (with coupon)
  4. Rowers
  5. Overhead press (with coupon)

Each round:

  • 10x swings (with coupon on all swings)
  • 10x exercise
  • 15x swings
  • 15x exercise
  • 25x swings
  • 25x exercise
  • 50x swings
  • 50x exercise

After all 5 rounds, 500 exercise reps (100 of each exercise) and 500 swings were completed, for a total of 1000 reps.

This was a doozy. Dem swings are no joke. Completed in 69 minutes and completely spent … but we’re better for it.
