YHC brought out the annual tradition of our March Madness beatdown to see which of our favorite exercises would bring home this years crown… and to see if we have gotten any better at free throws… and we have not…

WARMUP:
Mosey around the parking lot with some high knees and butt kickers mixed in. Then:
– SSH, x15 IC
– String rippers, x10 IC
– Sun Gods, x10 IC, fwd/rev
– Mountain climbers, x15 IC

THE THANG:
16 exercises were laid out in a 16-team March Madness style bracket. The seed indicates the number of reps of that exercise. After a game was played (i.e. both exercises performed by all PAX), 2 teams took turn shooting a free throw each game. In the first and second rounds, if ANYONE made it, the lower seed wins and moves on to the next round, else the higher seed moves on. After that, we decided to switch it up in following rounds to move the higher seed on if a basket was made. While waiting for free throws, the PAX held Al Gore.

After the first round of games, the PAX did a suicide run on the b-ball court, with increasing reps of Monkey Humpers at each trip to the baseline. This “fun” was skipped on rounds 3 and 4 due to time.

Suicide reps:

Free throw line and back, 2 reps.
Half line and back, 4 reps
Opposite free throw line and back, 8 reps
Full court and back, 16 reps

And the winner this year… MOUNTAIN CLIMBERS!

MARY:
We had just enough time for our true favorite exercise…
American Hammers, x16 IC (or maybe it was 11?)

ANNOUNCEMENTS:
5 year anniversary beatdown 4/12 at Abduction!
