COT: Little Things vs Real Things. We talked about how when things in life are going well, we tend to focus on small bumps in the road and minor inconveniences and treat them as problems. It’s human nature, but we must always remember that real issues are all around us with the people we know. Keeping perspective is key. Additionally, on the ride home I couldn’t help but notice the amazing sky. It was beautifully orange today. I found myself extremely grateful that I got out of bed, attended the Beatdown just for that reason.

Being grateful for things we do have really does help keep our focus on the positive, and generally makes us the type of person people want to be around.
